Partners of Los Primos

Teachers There are many teachers in the Maritimes and in Cuba working to help Los Primos. While Jeff Goodspeed and Paul Barrett are on the front lines this project would never have gotten off the ground without the support of band teachers all over Nova Scotia. Many have also personally donated instruments that are now making music in Cuba. For example when the Afro Cuban All Stars came to Halifax, Tommy Garcia was playing a trumpet from the project and a flugel horn that was donated to him by Andrew Alcorn of New Glasgow. We invite more teachers to become involved with the project. Tell us about your band trip to Cuba.
