The TV Show

During the ECMA live TV show HavanaFax was featured playing Ceilidh Cubano. Composed by Jeff Goodspeed this piece was a fusion of Celtic and Cuban music performed by a 16 piece group. Out front with Jeff and Chicoy where Wendy McIsaac and Richard wood on fiddle. Troy MacGillivray joined Silvio Pupo on dueling grand pianos. The four piece horn section included Andrew Alcorn, Rick Waychesko, Danny Martin and Francois Émond. David Burton on drums and Paul Vienneau on bass were joined on percussion by two Cape Bretoners, Keith Mullins and Darren Gallop and two Newfoundlanders Bill Brennan and George Morgan. There was representation from every Atlantic Province and Cuba in this group.
